February is National Children's Dental Health Month
National Children's Dental Health Month began in 1941 with a one-day event and became a month-long celebration in 1981. American students miss 51 million hours of school each year because of oral health problems and 50% of children are affected by tooth decay by the age of 5. In an effort to help alleviate this, Dr. Chris and Dr. Ryan will be visiting classrooms during the month of February to help educate our young people! Parents can help by following the 2-2-2 Rule - brush for 2 minutes, 2 times a day and visit your dentist 2 times a year.
